Founder
Ethan is a high school senior who is passionate about science and math. He also has strong interests in visual art and playing violin. He has been in a competitive kayak team for more than nine years. In his free time he enjoys watching videos about almost anything and playing games. Some of his achievements:

Honored Instructor
Sarah is a high school sophomore from Northern New Jersey. She has started figure skating and ballet since the age of 4. She has won many synchronized figure skating competitions, including second place on the eastern coast and first place at Colonials. She also enjoys art and reading. She plays the piano, cello, and alto saxophone. She was a finalist in the Constitution Poster Design Contest and has performed at Carnegie Hall before.
A really passionate reader, she has also assisted kindergartners at her school in learning how to read.

Daniel is a high school sophomore from Southern Illinois. He is an enthusiastic reader interested in a wide variety of genres. His hobbies also include drawing, swimming, playing tennis, playing guitar, and solving math problems.
He has been swimming competitively for more than four years and has won many regional competition awards. He is looking forward to sharing his reading experience with your kids.

William is a high school senior living in Southern California. He is an avid reader, writer, and an experienced performer. He performed together with Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera, Pasadena Symphony Orchestra, and at different venues such as From the Top. He taught singing and reading classes for children ages five to ten years old.

WILLIAM C.
Co-Founder
Ryan is a high school junior. He enjoys playing chess and the piano, participating in the debate team at his school, and being a member of a competitive hockey team. He travels a lot throughout the country with his hockey team and family for hockey games and tournaments.
He has achieved state champion in the 18th State Grade Tournament, 1st place in the State Scholastic Blitz Tournament, and 20th place in the National junior high k-9 tournament.
RYAN C.

Drew is a high school junior. He enjoys learning math, physics, chemistry, and also enjoys programming with Python and HTML/CSS.
Three words that best describe Andrew are creative, curious, and passionate.​
Drew has competed in a number of competitions including the district spelling bee, where he got fifth place. Andrew has also participated in the annual MATHCOUNTS state competition after earning second place for Countdown and earning third place with the Liberty Team in his regional competition.

Sophia is a junior. She likes art, writing, reading and science.
She has competed in Science Olympiad for a full year and is now coaching for her school, and has also participated in MATHCOUNTS. In addition to this, she has earned state-level awards in both piano and art competitions, and completed annually in the “Duck Stamp”.

Neo is a high school sophomore from Texas. His favorite hobbies are playing chess and playing video games. His favorite subjects are math and reading.
He has played in many chess tournaments, including the US Chess/ChessKid K-12 Showdown and the bi-weekly CHESSanity Online Tournament Series. He has also participated in the online Math Kangaroo 2020 and came in 4th place nationally.

Brian is a senior at Central Jersey. He is deeply passionate about physics and mathematics. At AoAA, he has designed and taught courses on diverse topics, including web design, astronomy, and aerospace engineering. A dedicated high-power rocketeer, Brian earned his launch certification four years before entering high school and has built rockets that have broken the sound barrier. With over five years of experience and 250+ hours in volunteer teaching, Brian has also held multiple leadership roles and has greatly contributed to AoAA's founding in 2020. He is eager to share his passions and experiences with learners of all ages.

William Chen is a high school freshman living in Katy, Texas. He has developed a great interest in mathematics and started competing in math competitions in 1st grade.
William is a 3-time AIME qualifier and was
awarded distinction on the AMC8. He participated in MATHCOUNTS state and other competitions such as Mathleague and Math Kangaroo. Other than doing math, William likes to cube and play chess.

Grace is a high school senior from Austin, Texas. She is particularly interested in computer science and mathematics. She is currently in the USACO silver division and has participated in math competitions since elementary school. Grace enjoys working with and helping others and has years of experience as a student leader in clubs such as NJHS and Student Council. In her free time, she enjoys running, writing, and listening to music.

Anson is a high school senior living in Southern California. His favorite subjects include math and science; specifically biomedical sciences. He has been playing badminton for nearly 6 years. He has won several medals from tournaments all over the US. For a few years in middle school he participated in a few math competitions and won a few medals.

Kriya is a high school senior living in New Jersey. She has an extensive passion for music: she has played the piano for 6 years, received ABRSM certifications for musical performance and theory, and is an avid member of the North Brunswick Raider Marching Band and North Brunswick Winter Percussion Ensemble as a mallet player. In her free time, she enjoys coding in Python and swimming competitively, currently on her school’s varsity swim team. She is also passionate about teaching, working as a swim instructor for all age groups.
